As I sit here reflecting on how this journey began, I'm reminded of the wise words my grandfather once shared: "If you don't like it, go jump in the San Miguel." Meaning, take the adventure and go jump in the creek...

My Roots of Adventure,

Growing up in GrandJunctionColorado, my childhood was filled with exploration and curiosity of the beautiful surroundings we'reblessed with. Here in Colorado.

My Grandpa would take me out and let me play in his 1970 series Toyota Hilux pickup as a kid and go on adventures. He would let me shift the gears while sitting center seat as a boy and eventually taught me how to drive stick in the Rocky Mountains of the San Juans.

That truck was my playground – where I learned to appreciate nature, hard work, and the importance of family.

My grandfather has always been my hero – teaching me everything from fixing engines to navigating by the stars. His wisdom and patience inspired my love for adventure and shaped me into the person I am today. Now it's my turn to pay homage to my grandfather's legacy by continuing the adventure in the truck, Homer ,my Father and I built together at his shop, as the shop truck when I was a younger man working for him. over time it sat for many years and needed a new engine but recently he surprised me and brought it back from the dead and gifted it to me when Grandpa was nearing the end.

I want to honor all that by sharing their stories and where and they happened. While also creating new stories of our own, So come join me and my family as we navigate life's uncharted territories and take the Adventures to go jump in creek with Homer and Matt's off Road Odyssey.
